Tips of the Month - June, 2009

QuickBooks:

Effective May 31, 2009 QuickBooks will no longer offer support for QuickBooks 2006.
If you are using QuickBooks payroll you must upgrade your QuickBooks software to 2009.
After May 31, 2009 the payroll software will not work with QuickBooks 2006.

Tax:

When using the standard mileage rate, $.55 for 2009 you can also deduct parking, tolls
and interest paid on a loan to purchase the vehicle.
